Man in the mirror

When you look into the mirror do you like what you see? Do you really look in the mirror at the reflection? What do you like about what you see? What do you not like about what you see? When you look in the mirror, would you want to talk to what you see if you were someone else?

All to often when we get excited about things and get involved with businesses, we completely forget to monitor ourselves. We just get up and go and we run up to people and we just throw up all over them about what we want them to hear. Well most people don't want to hear what you have to say. Yes that's right most people do not want to hear what you have to say.

You see what most people see in us at that point is ugly and it is not at all attractive to the people we talk to. You absolutely must be more concerned with what is going on in others lives than what is going on in yours. No one wants to feel like a dollar sign. When we can look in the mirror and find no fault, then and only then will people begin to listen and talk to us.

I know you are thinking, Kris nothing is ever free. Bare with me for a few minutes and I will explain. This really is worth reading and implementing into your business no matter whether it is a online business or an offline business.

So let me ask you, what is the one thing that you look at the hardest in a business? What do you remember most about a business? For me it is customer service. I also think that for most people it is customer service. So where am I going with this?

Well if you look for good customer service in business what do you think others are looking for? That's right Customer service! If you want people to join you in your business then give them the BEST customer service. In today's fast paced world customer service has all been thrown out the window. I believe that if we bring it back and service people the best we can with their issues and concerns that we will set ourselves apart from the rest of the businesses out there.

You may have a business that is online or maybe it is offline, the fact is that YOU are your business no matter what the business is about. If you will take this one tip and put it to use you will begin to see your business grow and it will grow seemingly by itself.

Be the best YOU you can be........

What do I mean by this? Well who are YOU? What do YOU stand for? What do others see in YOU?

I realized a long time ago that in business of any kind YOU is the most important thing. You see we have to learn to be the best we possibly can be. I mean it isn't good enough to be our best sometimes, or most of the time we have to be our best all the time. You see in business we are the first thing that people see and so it is us that people are attracted to and us that they follow when they like what they get from us as a person.

When you go out to eat, do you like the waiter that seems like he would rather be doing 100 other things than serving you? When you are looking at a multimillion dollar investment do you want to do business with the guy or gal that seems like they are better than you are? Of course not! So what am I talking about here?

It is simple. We control who we are. No one else has anything to do with who we are. If you will start looking at YOU as your business, you will see great change. You will catch yourself doing something and thinking I hope I didn't say or do that with so in so. My grandmother used to say....always put your best foot forward! In effect this what I want you to think about when you are creating YOU. YOU want to be everything that you want others to be. Is it easy? Can you do it over night? Does it take practice? No it is not always easy, yes YOU can do it over night but most don't and of course it takes practice.

Create your best YOU and wear it only and things will change in your life rapidly. I hope that this has been of help to you and I would love for you to SHARE this with others. Beware of the sign and drive

What in the world is that? I mean how many commercials do you see for it on TV for car sales? You know the ones......they have fine print on them....lol. I think that it is unfair to get people in to the dealerships with this tack tick. I mean I guess it has merit because it works for them but, it isn't that easy and they should not make it seem that way.

We have people in network marketing that are "sign and drive" promoters. What I mean by this is that they show you their program whatever it is, they dress it up in it's Sunday best and show you the money you could make with it, then telling you that when you sign up with them that your on easy street or that the business will build itself. Bull!!!!! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!!!!

First of all it is a business. If they didn't tell you that then they sold you a dream. Businesses require work. It is never as easy as signing up to be a distributor in some program and next week the money will magically start falling from the sky! WAKE UP! This is 2010 the real world. You have to do something to get that business up and off the ground. Now maybe you have 100 people you can call and say jump and they ask how high, but if they aren't making money how long will they stay? When they have to keep paying the autoship and they can't get people to join them because they don't know how to run their business or people don't want they have to offer, how long will you have that 100 people? I will tell you. Average 90 days max! Then what?

Well then you go back and say what happened? I will tell you what happened, you got a sign and drive and that is what you promoted and like in the real world there is fine print that you should read. So now you are in this business, you can do two things. Quit or learn to do it right. Quitting is what most people do, they were looking for fast money or to get rich quick, they were not looking for a business; because a business equals work. On the other hand you can do what 3% of people do and that is pull up their sleeves and dig deep into what they have and figure out what makes it tick.

If you choose to do that, you are a leader! Leaders don't quit they figure out how to make something work and they help their team to do the same. I could go on here but the rest is for another time. Just know that we all get shown sign and drives and we all have to know there is no such thing and sign and get rich and that is what they are trying to sell you!

Do you know the difference?

Do you know the difference between a sponsor and a recruiter?

I can not tell you how many times through the years I have heard people say "I sponsored a 100 people last month, year etc." I learned along time ago a very valuable lesson that I have two ears and one mouth for a reason. So if you hang around for awhile and watch and listen you will learn if that person really did sponsor that many people or not. So am I saying he lied? Am I saying he made it up? Well we will get to that in a few minutes.

I on the other hand have heard several times over the years "I sponsored 3 people last month" Then later as you are doing more listening than talking you hear about how this person helped his 3 people get their sites running and their products ordered and how he held four presentations for one of the 3 and two each for the other 2. Then a little later you here how this team has grown to over 300 people in a really fast amount of time.

Now I ask you; "Which one of these people is the sponsor? Which one do you want people to call you? Which one before reading this did you think you were?" Let me lead off buy saying there is nothing wrong with being a recruiter, in the right place, but Network Marketing is not a real good place to be a recruiter if you want to be successful and thought of highly in the industry.

The object of the game is is to be the leader and sponsor to the people that you would want from your sponsor. I would rather be known as the guy who only sponsor 10 people in my career than the one who put 1000 in and left them to figure it out on their own.

How do I find a business opportunity?

You know that is one of the best questions that I get from time to time. My answer to that is always very similar. I usually answer back by asking a question first. I ask, "What excites you? What are you passionate about? "

Then they usually come back with....."Well what are you doing?" I have to stop here and ask you reading this, what since does this make? What difference does it make what I am doing? I mean I asked what got their juices flowing right? Maybe I am shoveling dog poop at the local SPCA. I mean seriously..........What I have a passion for may not be anything close to what gets you roaring!

So it goes back to......what do you like? What makes you happy? What helps you sleep at night? Most people will say having more money will help them sleep at night but really you have to have a vehicle to make that money. So do you love sports, working out, coins, health and wellness, web tech stuff, travel, make up? What is it that you can fall in love with and stick with til your dieing day? After all isn't the idea to find something that makes you want to get up in the morning and do that business every single day?

A long time ago in my career in network marketing those people that would ask me this question, I would put in my business and I could not understand why they left or didn't do well in the business. Well the simple fact is that what excited me, did not excite them. I felt like I was failing them, and then the light bulb went off. I wasn't failing them or me, you can not coach someone on something they do not want to do or that they do not have passion for. Save yourself alot of headaches and learn from my lesson, LOVE WHAT YOU DO!

When you get ready to locate a business for yourself, meditate on it, pray about it, make love to the idea before you pull the trigger!

What do you want?

Isn't that a good question? I mean take a minute and stop reading here and think, what do you want? This is the most common asked question among people everywhere. It can have alot of different meanings but what I want to know is what do YOU want? Why are you here? What are you looking for? Are you ready to stop struggling? Ok then, What do you want?

You see over the years that I have been successful in business, the way to help the most people is to find out what they want. It is the root for the tree, it is the wind beneath their wings etc. What I have learned in helping people become successful is that I have to dig deep and get to the core of what that person wants in life. Then the rest is easy because once you really know what someone wants in life or from life then it is as simple as showing that person solutions that will get them there. People are afraid of revealing their "real" want to others, so this may take some time and you have to have a real relationship with that person to get down deep and get to the real want.

Once you have that want it is a good practice to show that person how the Law of Attraction has been working in their life and how they can change the way it is working to get what they true desire! This will take many vehicles and much practice on their part but with out the knowledge of their true want, neither you nor them can get to it.

A learning time........

So the last time I was here, we were talking about True Health. A few people read that and offered some information on the subject and I have been looking and reading and meeting so many people in the health field!

So what have I learned? Do I have all the answers? Did I get the magic answer? Well.....let me say that I am confident that this is going to be a forever going process. I have learned much and feel better than I have in years. I will be sharing things as I learn them and feel that they apply to many people. I am going to share now some of the things that I learned and feel are important to most people.

I learned that I was right about the pills and the juice, it is not enough. So many things must change in order for people to have complete True Health. So you are asking like what Kris? Well your diet must change and we have to be more aware of what we are putting into our bodies. Putting in good will result in getting good out. For another that food, exercise, calorie and carb counting is not enough. So am I saying that that if we are the best at this we are still not healthy, NO! That is not what I am saying, I am saying that we have to really understand what complete health looks like and how to live it.

Did you realize that the air we breathe daily is harmful to us? Do you realize that the water that comes from our sinks and the bottled water we drink is toxic? Do you realize that most cancer can be averted and most illnesses are avoidable with good health?

Did you ever stop to wonder why our grandparents did have to go to the doctor as much as we do? Well the answer is simple, two generations of pollution, deterioration, neglect and carelessness. Because of these things we now are sicker, have more illnesses, and have diseases that no one has ever heard of before. Maybe that is why you can not turn on the TV and not see something about health care.

If we will learn more and apply what we learn, we can learn to be more PRO active as opposed to RE active. Now I am not saying anything bad about science and medicine, however it is my belief that by being more pro active we are in effect getting closer to True Health.

True Health????

So the question is about True Health.....

That is a good question, and honestly is one that is on alot of peoples minds these days. Every time we turn the tv on we see something about health care and how we are not healthy, how we are over weight, how we don't eat right etc.

So what is True Health???? The last time we were here we ask a few questions and I have gotten some answers but not all. I did find out that taking something or changing the way we eat is better than nothing but it isn't enough to change our lives drastically.

So I guess the real question comes to be; How healthy do I want to be and how long do I want to live? I mean lets face it if we could be healthy getting older wouldn't make as much difference, right? It seems like with age comes all the things like blood pressure, sugar, cholesterol, arthritis, gout, forgetfulness, etc. So how do we get true health? What do we have to change to get there? Will making these changes make me enjoy life more?

I think so....I have been in a couple of Health companies in the past and they were good companies, they have great products, but there was always a nagging thought in my mind, am I doing enough? Have I changed enough? Is this Juice twice a day enough???? Is a handful of pills gonna make all the difference in the world????? If I change the way I eat and exercise, is that enough?

Long story short...........No it isn't. That is probably why even though those companies have good products and certainly better that you can buy over the counter at the grocery or Walmart I did not stay with them, because there has to be more to it than that!

So I heard; through Camaron Corr, about this new company that represents themselves as an Uncompromising Health Company, they are located in Dallas Texas so there is nothing to do but to go out there and see what they have to offer!!!! What could it be? What can we change? How good can we get?

What is true Health?

So many companies out there and every one claims to be the best.....Mona Vie, Vemma, Maleluca, Visalus and the list goes on and on.

So who is the best?

What makes them the best?

Is changing some things good enough?

Is taking something better than taking nothing?

Well these are just some of the questions that I have been asked lately and I have to admit that these questions have been some of the same ones I have had myself. I the upcoming blogs I will be addressing some of the questions and the best answers that I can find!

Rejoice in your Failure.............

Rejoice in your failure!

No I am not crazy.........I want you to really think about this. Let's talk about failure for a few minutes. I was always taught that failure was a bad thing and that I was to avoid it at all cost..............recently I took some time to myself and dove into my brain as well as a few books that I needed to reread and submerge in. After doing this I was still in a fog for awhile and felt so alone. This is a journey that I think many go on and you can only take this road when you are truly ready.

All of a sudden I was laying in the tanning bed, where I do some of my best thinking, and it hit me..........Rejoice in your failure. I shook my head for a minute and thought what does that mean? Then I started thinking about the information I recently read in some of the books along with some information I stored from some of my personal mentors, it was then that i realized that if someone is failing then they are 90% above the rest already because they are at least trying to do something! WOW what a revelation, had I heard this before? Had someone tried to tell me this before? Had I read it in a book? Probably all of the above just like you, but my mind had to accept it on it's own time and terms!

So now what? I started looking backwards at the things that i have attempted in my life.......alot of happiness and accomplishment but also alot of failure. What do I do now? Well now I must go back and review all my failures and examine why and how things went wrong and how to go back and try again changing the things that I did wrong!!!!!!

Watch out world..........Kris is HERE and he is READY!!!!!!!! Failure welcome here, as now I know that it is just part of the stairs that I have to climb to reach that level of success that I am after!

Abundance for all...............

Abundance for all is achieved through acknowledging a desire and giving that desire life.

How many times have you wanted something and asked for it only to ask where is what I asked for the next day? Well if you have done this it is fair to say that you shut the very door that you opened the day before. You simply have to ask for what you want and then breathe life into it by accepting that it is on it's way and that you are receiving it already just by accepting the fact that it is in route to you and your life.

Breathe easier and freely that the act of asking for what we want and desire is the first step in the process....accepting is the second step and receiving is the third step. It is my belief that you should start with something small and experience it all the way through so that you can feel what it is like to go through all the steps. Once you understand and feel how the process works then you will begin to have
great success with more things that you desire and ask for. Start with something that you can ask for and desire and put it out there and then leave it alone, another words don't start with something that you think about daily.....that is too hard to start with and all too often will bring you to disappointment in yourself and what you perceive your abilities to be!

*Note* This helps me be in the right frame of mind maybe it will do the same for you. I constantly think I can and do anything that i want to even if I don't know how I will get it done, I still believe just like when I was a kid that I can do ANYTHING!!!!!!!!

Thanks is something that most people forget to do until Thanksgiving or Christmas....why is that? I mean how many times a day do you have the opportunity to give thanks and let it slip by?

For instance a homeless man on the street begs for help or food.....do you say: I so thankful that I have a home and food? A holiday comes around and there are so many that can not buy and give to their loved ones....their main goal is food on the table. When you are out shopping on Black Friday.....do you say: I am so thankful that I have the money to shop for my loved ones today?

Most of us do not and that is why when we want to get ahead in life we can not, because we can not see how far we have come in life first! You must be thankful everyday, tomorrow is not promised. We have to look for the positive in every thing to be thankful for........

IE: Thanksgiving day 2009
I sent out Happy Thanksgiving Text and was decorating my Aunts tree talking to my mom on the phone and I get a text that my 20 year old cousin has just been killed in a tragic car accident! So most would say what is there to be thankful about that? Well I am Thankful that my cousin Heather did not suffer and she did not know pain in her accident, Thank you lord!

So you see be Thankful and let people know how thankful you are!!!!!

Fear..............

Fear.............It is fear of criticism that causes many ideas to fail to see the light! Wow that one will really hit ya in the gut huh? I was reading today and came across that.....I stopped and thought you know never truer words have been written.

Fear let's talk about that for a minute. What is fear? There are many different answers you could give for that one, but what sticks in my brain is that fear is a stopper! You know like putting a stopper in a sink and running it full of water. What happens????? The water is held back. Now think about you being the water, how are you going to get out of the sink??? You must remove the stopper or the fear to get past the thing that holds you.

You know I think about all the things in my life that I have accomplished and there was no fear there....I mean simply thought I would do something and I did it. There was a positive motion behind everything that I did until I achieve the goal I was shooting for.

Now thinking about all the things that I failed at.........I can link fear directly to the failure. You know the questions.......What if this doesn't work, what if I build it and the company fails, what if I tell people and they think I am crazy, what if the product doesn't work for someone???? The list goes on and on. But the reasons are all the same, fear crept into the picture.

Doubt is not your friend either as it leads to fear. We must learn to control our minds so that doubt and fear are not options for us. How do we do that? Well we simply vision what we are wanting and never see that vision any other way, the end results will amaze you!

Check into you.......................

Check into you! So you are saying "What are you talking about Kris?" Well very simply put when was the last time you checked into yourself? Do you know how critical you are when you check into a hotel? Well it is sort of the same principle. I mean you have to really look at each and every part of yourself and grade it.

If you did that right now, what would you get? As a matter of fact, stop and take a long look at yourself and give yourself a grade. You may not like what you get. You may feel like you have failed yourself and others, NOT SO! By stopping and looking realistically at yourself you are a winner no matter what grade you gave yourself!

Now, you have graded yourself and you may like it and you may not, however the wonderful part is only you know the grade and that allows you the ability to change it and correct the things that lower your grade. Truth here is the most important thing as you are only being truthful with yourself and if you can't do that well that is another lesson. Be truthful and dig deep into what prevents you from getting an A. You may not be able to fix it all at one time and I recommend that you break this up into sections and work on one at a time as to not get overwhelmed.

So you want to be an A+.......well you have to, check into you often and work on the things that keep you from hitting your goal and one day you will check into you and get that grade you so badly want!!!!

Why this is important is simple: we get caught up in hurry and do this, hurry get this done, hurry and get that person involved and you know what? We forget about us. We are the most important element in our as well as others lives!!!!!!

The problem with network marketing...........

The problem with network marketing.......what is it exactly? Well you can ask a lot of people and you will get a wide variety of answers! I mean over the course of the many years that I have been in the Network Marketing field I have heard so many answers it is not funny.

So let's take a look at this a little closer and for those that have a weak stomach maybe you should not go any further. What makes someone ask this question? Often times it is because they signed up with a company that a friend was in and said they could make a lot of money......hummm how many have heard that one? Other times it is an opportunity that was presented to them and they saw a way to make "quick" money. Or maybe they were tired of their day to day job and wanted something different and got involved for a change. Then there are those that saw the shiny cars and big homes and frequent vacations etc. Last but not least there are those that thought they could jump in at "just the right time" and make a fortune, sit back and live happily ever after!

Well I am not going to tell you that any of these reasons are ones that you should join a Network Marketing opportunity for, you see I don't believe that. I also know that this is what gives the industry a bad name. Greed and Ego have no home here! You can not build anything on greed, ego and untruth and it last. You also can not build anything without the right education. Would you want to go to a doctor that just woke up one day and said I think I will be a doctor now and do surgery on people to make a living. NOT!!! If you get involved do you not want it to last when you build it? Sure you do!!!! So all that other stuff has to be left out of the picture!

So then What is the problem with Network Marketing? YOU, You are the problem with Network Marketing. Everyone wants the money, cars, houses, bling, vacations etc. but 97% do not want to do and acquire what is needed to get the job done correctly. There for they flop and flounder and jump around like a fish out of water and then they say why? why can't I do this? Well the answer is simple......there is no short cuts, no magic wand. There are no magic words to get people to join, buy or support your network marketing opportunity! (and them stay with you) YOU and you alone are the only thing that can make it work! You have to want it deep down inside. You have to want to learn what it takes, you have to be willing to work 20 hour days for YEARS to get where you want to be. You have to go to events. You have to be dedicated to yourself. You have to have focus and determination. You have to want to HELP people!

I know that there will be a lot of people that stop reading my blog or following me because of this post however, I am not going to lie to people and I will not let them believe that some people are lucky and others are not. I will tell people the truth, no matter how many people it offends and in the end.........I will be smiling with a large group of people that I have been able to truly help!

A breath of fresh air...........

Recently with the changes that have come about in life like the big move to FL last year and then trying to decide where we want to live in Fl. Then there is thinking about what would happen if we had to leave for a storm and returned to nothing but an address. This is a very real possibility when one lives in Fl and you are encouraged to think about these things as well as pack important documents and things in case you must leave in a hurry. Then if that wasn't enough Atlanta gets hit with the awful flood and so many people that I know personally were affected as well as that was were we lived.

All these things lead to a decision to lighten the load so to speak. We looked at the things that we have and the things that we could loose and decided that we needed to make some huge adjustments.

For the last two weeks we have been in the process of doing just that and i have to tell you that it is such a growing experience for me. I will not go into all the details about what we are doing but I will tell you that all of a sudden it is like taking a " breath of fresh air." I now have so little to worry over and about, I still have all my memories which is what I would have had anyway if something happened and I feel like a new person.

You see this is so outside my box that it is not funny. I don't like to give up anything that I feel I have earned or deserved for whatever reason. Now this is different because I choose to make a clean break. I can not explain to you the feeling that has created for me but I know I like it!!!!!

What are you allowing? Are you wanting and asking for this but thinking more about why you don't want that? Well if this sounds like something that you have struggled with you may actually be allowing the wrong things.....

You see in order to allow the correct things in your life you must focus and meditate on the things that you want and what you want to accomplish. It is not good enough to say that you want them, you must reach for them with your mind! You must think on the things you wish to bring to you. If you are constantly saying or thinking about the things you do not want you allowing those very things to come to be.

How many times have you wanted to accomplished one thing but worried so much about the opposite things that the very things that you worried about or thought so much about were the very things that came into your life and you asked yourself Why?

Well that is simple you allowed the wrong things into your thoughts and then they became reality.

Meditate every day on the things you desire and want to come into your like and stay positive, when negative comes to you get rid of it. Start doing this now and you will start to see the world change before your very eyes!!!

Most people listen and then start to think about what others are saying to them, get into a negative place and the start wondering why all this is going on........I ask the question Why Not? You see I want to know why I can't do something or why people think that something can't or shouldn't be done.

It makes more since to me to seek answers to the no's so I can prove to others that real answer is yes! What if every no was suddenly turned into a yes? What would be the result? It is hard to imagine a world that has all yes'! I for one would love to live in a would of yes'.

We can all try to change the world a little at a time by saying yes instead of no. What a change will come to be just by saying yes more often. I mean if we are saying yes them positive things will start happening in ways you can not even imagine. Let's start today!!!

We can't always be were we want to be........

We can't always be were we want to be, just because that is nature. For instance I would like to be at an engagement I had planned for a while when along comes nature and changes the course of events. Now I could get bent out of shape and rant and rave and be all kinds of disappointed however instead I am happy to here. Now most people would say that being here instead of being were the plan was is not good. Now let's look at this, did anyone die? No. Did the world stop spinning? No. Did my friends and col lieges stop liking me or throw me out the business? No. So what really happened? An event got missed and the world is still spinning and everyone is breathing and there is another event coming up!!!!!! So what is the point to all this? Well the point is that there is only so much we can do sometimes to control what is going on in our lives, the rest we have to give way to and just be thankful for where we are and where we are going! You will not always hit your target or plan, just keep your head up and eyes forward and keep stepping one foot in front of the other and you will still get to the finish line like every one else!

Step by Step!!!

Today I want to talk to all those folks out there at are wondering if they can make it in Network Marketing, to those that wonder if they have what it takes, to those who have tried and did not get where they wanted to, to those that are doing it and still haven't crossed the finish line, to those that have heard the stories of the people that joined a company and in a few days had reached big success, yes today I want to talk to all of you!!!
You see there is more to Network Marketing than just signing up with someone. The first thing that you must do is get sponsored by someone who wants you to win as badly as you want to win, you see without guidance in this industry you will work very hard and long to reach your goals, when you can make it much easier on yourself if you just choose a good sponsor. The next step is to follow directions. You chose a sponsor for a reason right? Hopefully because you looked up to them or you looked up to what that person was doing for their team. I mean they had to have something more to offer you than just an opportunity, right? OK so since you look up to that person and their leadership certainly you should follow their directions......do not try to reinvent the wheel. They are telling you how to do something a certain way because they most likely have years worth of experience behind them that you do not have, that is why you signed up with them, right? The next step is to become a product of your product or service, you have to have passion before you can tell the world how excited you are!!!!! If you have a product and you are not using it and have not seen certain results with it then odds are you will never get anyone to look at your opportunity because you don't feel it! The same goes for those that have services. The next step would be to take massive action and that is another whole blog by itself, but you must, must, must do all you can to drive as much traffic to your opportunity as you possibly can and there are a lot of ways to do that. The next step would be to do a lot of study and even more self development, again your sponsor should be able to help you with this as well, if not maybe you should have chosen another sponsor, right? Self development is the most enlightening part of this business, aside of course from becoming the wind beneath someone's wings and helping them fly! The next step is to practice getting NO's!!! You heard me, get NO's, you see 95% of people that you talk to will not be interested in your opportunity so get used to it right from the start and look for the NO's and when you get YES's you will have reason to celebrate, but beware only 10% of those YES's will want success as badly as you do! The next step is to become the BEST at hunting Eagles, ducks flock together and are easy to find, the Eagle soars alone and is much harder to find! Ducks eat whatever you give them and Eagles hunt their prey. The next step is to put 6 or 7 Eagles in your business and then support them until the world comes to an end!!!!!! You will never regret this I promise! The next step, well some would say rest, enjoy, relax! I say start looking for No's!!!!!

Comfortable in your own skin!

How many times have I been asked, "How do you talk to people?" or "How do you prospect?". Well the answer is very simple although most will not want to hear the answer. You must be comfortable in your own skin, let me repaet that....YOU MUST BE COMFORTABLE IN YOUR OWN SKIN! So now you say, "Kris, what do you mean by that?" Well let me start by saying that the way I talk to people or the way that I prospect may work for me but may not work for you. You see after so many years in this business I have learned that I can not do some of the things that my great mentors do or that I can not talk the way they do or that I may not be able to carry myself the way they do. I have learned that first things first in marketing and that is YOU must be yourself and you must take what you learn and make it your own. People can sense when you are not being real, they know when you are putting on an "act" as they say. Marketing is a great business and it gets a bad name because so many people think it can only be done one way, so they try to imitate what they see and what they hear. This is not the way to market. This is the way to fail and fast..........so what to do? Well first you must figure out what makes you happy. You know that feeling you get when you are with that special someone, or when your pet meets you at the door when you return from going somewhere, that is the feeling you are looking for and then you have to hold on to that feeling. If you are doing something that does not make you feel that way then you must stop and learn how to do what you are doing and have that feeling. Then and only then can you move forward to the next thing. So you ask, how long does this take? That is totally up to you as an individual. Some learn to master this fast and others learn slower. It is not an easy thing to learn or to put into our routine but it is of utmost IMPORTANCE!!! When you have mastered this one thing, marketing will get easier for you, I promise!

Do you believe???

Do you believe that you have a great company? Do you believe that your Product is awesome? Do you believe you are a good leader? Well that is awesome because that is part of the battle! But what most people will not tell you is that is not enough! So you say "What do you mean Kris?" Well what I mean is that there is more to running your business that having a great company, product and being a good leader! You have to fight fire with fire. You have to know that you are a GREAT leader and you have to have tools in your arsenal that propel not only you but your team to the top so that you and your team are walking across the stage at every big company event! This is a tuff economy and we all have to be very resourceful in our marketing efforts, there are a lot of things out there that can help you and a lot that can hurt you. Searcher beware! Over the course of my career I have been blessed to align myself with some of the most successful people in the business of network marketing. I believe that was all for a purpose, a purpose that I have been studying for quite some time. There are so many things that we all need to know there is no possible way you could learn it all in a few short emails, courses, or blogs however if you are persistent and stick to your search you will find the answers you are looking for! Part II

....................Would it ever come? I absorbed as much as I could I studied marketing and advertising, I talked to everyone that would talk back and I took notes until my hand felt like it would fall off. I was offered a position in opening a Night Club and running it for a very wealthy group of marketers, so I took them up on it (thinking this would be my big break). Needless to say I was not any closer to my dreams than I had been before. I soon got very tired of the night life and opened my own cleaning business. The business was very successful and after a few years I was able to sell it and the equipment, vehicles and clients contracts for a handsome profit. I them after about a year off decided to go in business with a friend 50/50 in an electrical business. Boy that was an education! Three and a half years later I was paying more to have a job than I was drawing, this made no sense. I then focused on real estate and not knowing what to do I began learning and reading everything I could get my hands on. I bought course after course and I learn fast. Before you knew it I was making VERY good money in my real estate career, still unhappy and wanting to be in network marketing ever so badly! One afternoon I was invited by a stranger to a party at their house the following night. I had no idea what it was about or if I even wanted to take the time out to go. After much deliberation I went and low and behold it was a Travel party. The gentleman that was there to give the information to us was dynamic and energetic, well dressed and well spoken. That night I told him "One day I am going to have your job!" His response to me was "Come on let's go!" And So it began....my career in the travel business. I was now a full time real estate investor, property manager, sales person, project coordinator and travel professional. The most fun was in the travel.......I loved it and I began doing meetings everywhere. Soon I was traveling and it was evident that I needed to move back to Georgia. That gentleman not only became my friend but my mentor and I also became his Administrative Executive Assistant. WOW life was great........but I still was missing so many pieces to the puzzle. That ran for about three years. I then moved to Florida and let that company as well, staying in touch closely with so many BIG people in the industry. I took about six months off and was so bored I could not stand it. I began looking at everything that anyone wanted to show or tell me about, finding something wrong with everything that came along. Finally I decided to try a few different things and see which one would fly. During this time I found out that I was not the only one that was going through these things and that I was very much not alone! I began to search and read and learn and get out all those courses I had bought over the years from all the experts I paid so much money to and examine the information. I began talking to "experts" or people that have "made it" and aligning myself with the successful. I began to get a little here and a little there and figured out that the learning curve in this business is what kills most people and prevents them from ever seeing success. I have spent over 13 years learning and trying to get REAL success in this industry and spending more money than I even want to think about. I met some more people that I had not had privilege to before and they began guiding me as well. I kept pushing and then I attracted answers to me one after another. I am now creating leads FREE everyday online and I am happier than I have ever been. So what now? I am going to help as many people out there that will let me and I will teach them anything that I know or learn as long as they are Coachable and Teachable! So now you know who Kris Hanks is and what he stands for as well as if you will let me I will help you any way I can!

Who is Kris Hanks

I want to take a few minutes and introduce myself, I am an average guy that has a love for people and has always wanted to help as many people as I possibly could. That being said I want to tell you a little about me as a person. I grew up on the eastern sea board never really staying in one place for long periods of time because of my fathers work. I was able to meet a wide variety of people this way and realized at an early age that there are many different types of people in this world. The funny thing that I learned was they all had one thing in common, they all just wanted to be happy and have enough money to do the things in life that they felt were important. I also learned that most of them never seemed to have enough money and were always trying to find ways to make ends meet.
I was able to get out of school and settled in Ga. for awhile doing many different management positions trying to find myself. I first got into Network marketing with a company called Excel. I struggled but liked the social interaction and after awhile of getting no help I stopped doing that company and started with a company called NSA. Now this one was a little easier to sell the product but the team building was slow, all the while I was managing a McDonald's full time. Georgia wore off and I went to Virginia for awhile still managing McDonald's and still selling NSA. I wanted desperately to leave the full time job and only do NSA however I just could not get people interested in joining my team. All this time my upline was telling me what a great job I was doing and that when the time was right the team would come. A few years I left Virginia and moved to North Carolina where I became a District Manager for McDonald's....YEAH! I was still not happy with my network marketing career. I began to get burned out and decided to try sales for awhile to better my skillset as that is what I believed I need to do to be successful in Marketing. So first I took an insurance course, completed it and began to sell insurance door to door. Now I had two full time jobs....uuughh! I hated it and soon decided to try selling Filter Queen Vacuum Cleaners.....wow that was a treat. Now I was trying once again to build TEAM and sell the vacuums. That lasted about eight months and I could not keep the people that I did get in my team to stay so I was constantly rebuilding the team. I became discouraged and gave up for awhile and decided on a career change altogether. I became the Manager of the Banquets and Beverage Departments for the Hilton Chain. This left me no time for network marketing but alot of time to mix with some very successful people in that field, as they constantly were having events at the hotels. I craved success in network marketing...........wondering when it would ever come?
